We are excited to announce that we now have the option to provide telehealth with online video calls.
We are using a program called PhysiApp which works much like Zoom or Skype with video calls that you can access easily on your phone or computer. It is a beautifully intuitive, simple and free App that lets us do Physiotherapy consults and exercise programs online if you are unable to visit us at the clinic.
Hands on therapy is only a small part of what we do. We can provide very effective treatment with education and exercise programs. The best type of Physio treatment is that which supports you to self-manage and we can do this through video calls.
This is a service that we can safely provide to new and existing clients. We can complete assessments through the call and design suitable exercise programs. In this time of being stuck inside you may know someone who would benefit from a physiotherapy assessment and management.

The added benefit of the program is that it has a huge library of exercise and educational videos. It allows us to design an exercise program for you, much like we would do in the clinic. You can then follow the instructional videos as you do your exercises at home and tick when you have completed each. It even lets us track your progress. The app lets you message us with any questions or concerns and we can easily update your program as needed.
We can send you a invidualised exercise program like this on your device.
Bookings
Appointments would be booked as normal. You may book over the phone by calling 8333 2433 and speaking with our staff. Or you can book online through our website or through healthengine. When booking your appointment you will need to ensure that you select the ‘Telehealth’ option to differentiate it from the usual face to face consult.
Cost
Private health will provide a rebate for physiotherapy telehealth consults beginning Tuesday 14th April 2020 (click for details). When it is available, you will be able to submit your receipt online to receive a rebate. Our charges for telehealth consults are listed below:
- Initial Telehealth (45 minutes) – $75.00
- Subsequent Telehealth (30 minutes) – $50.00
