Sports Injuries and injury Prevention
We put a premium on long-term prevention strategies for all injuries. The initial management of your injury will aim to comprehensively assess any structural damage, or identify any biomechanical abnormalities that may be contributing to your pain.
Then with consideration given to the demands of your lifestyle (and/or sport) we will identify the likely prognosis, expected healing time and potential return to pre-injury activity. At all stages we aim to prevent re-injury, addressing any factors that are contributing to the initial problem. If training overload is an issue we have plenty of experience with exercise programming to manage loads.
At our disposal is a huge array of strengthening exercises, stretches, taping or bracing, in addition to passive treatments (hands on, dry needling or electrophysical agents).
