Trish completed her physiotherapy degree in 1992 (Uni SA), & Masters degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 1998 (Uni SA). Trish has been working in private practice for 20 years & began Burnside Physiotherapy in 1999. Today the business provides a team of highly qualified Masters Physiotherapists, certified dry needling practitioners, massage therapist, and pilates instructors to restore function and maximise our treatment outcomes for clients. Trish is able to provide a range of services including sports & spinal physiotherapy & OH & S services including job analysis, work site visits, workstation assessment, manual handling and injury prevention education and is also qualified to perform dry needling & instruct pilates.
Doris completed her Physiotherapy degree in Adelaide in 1982. Since then, she has gained a wide range of experience in private practice, hospital, rehabilitation and aged care facilities in Australia and overseas. She is particularly interested in Orthopaedics and Injury Rehabilitation and is skilled in the area of Massage, Lymphoedema Management and Aged Care and Falls Prevention. Doris is also able to provide home visits to our clients and instructs Pilates classes.
Amy completed her Physiotherapy degree in Adelaide in 2014 and has had experience in hospital settings, rehabilitation and private practice. She is particularly interested in rehabilitating sports and work related presentations. She uses a combination of manual therapy, education and targeted exercise programs to optimise technique and function. She is a country girl and in her spare time enjoys playing hockey, cycling and hiking. She is able to perform dry needling and enjoys running individualised Pilates sessions.
Bindi trained at the Australian Institute of Fitness and received awards for academic and hands-on excellence in Remedial Massage. She is able to provide myofascial and trigger point release, deep tissue massage, pre/post sport massage and general mobility maintenance. Regular massage is fantastic for many people as a maintenance treatment to keep moving and pain free. Massages with Bindi will be claimable with your health fund. Many health funds have a separate amount set aside for remedial therapy so it is worth checking and using.
Kassandra has been working in the Reception area at Burnside Physiotherapy since 2007 and enjoys helping clients with their administration needs. She is married with three children, two in middle/senior school & the eldest working. Volunteering at school and watching the various activities her children are involved in keeps Kas busy. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and going to the gym. When time permits, she also loves getting away to the beach at Carrickalinga.
Jude has been working with Burnside Physiotherapy since early 2016. She has many years of experience in Physio admin and is really enjoying the change to a smaller community practice. She is married with 2 grown kids who are both working. Jude's passion is cooking and entertaining, particularly cooking for her friends and family. She also enjoys walking and shopping.
